I realized the other day that, while my kids have had lots of time learning about animal life and rocks and even some astronomy and while they can identify all sorts of local plants and know which ones they can eat, we haven’t taken much time to learn plant parts, reproduction, photosynthesis and things like that.
So, I’m looking for great living books that teach botany. What are your favorites?

My children are ages 4, 6, 8, and 10, but this mostly for the older two.

Are you familiar with Guest Hollow? Here’s a link to a botany program for middle school. She uses lots of living books and many of them would be appropriate for the age level of your kids as well.
