Often the US books have very different wildlife. Also, is it possible to find out which books CM used herself?Kind regardsLynn October 12, 2010 at 2:16 pm thehauserfamilyMemberWe are using Handbook of Nature Study by Anna Botsford Comstock. (free here http://www.archive.org/details/handbookofnature002506mbp) Most of it is pretty much common stuff and found here too.I have seen a lot of Field study guides (birds, fllowers etc) at the book store. They look wonderful. October 12, 2010 at 2:27 pm thehauserfamilyMemberAlso try Enid Blyton’s Nature Lover’s Book Enid BlytonFor a nature reader I would love to pick this up!! She has many other books about nature, birds and so much more!
