    Hi! Would anyone have a suggestions for a middle school (12 yr old) boy who is learning about the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires? or Alexander the Great….

    Byzantium by Stephen Lawhead is one option.

    There is a book called Alexander the Great by Jacob Abbot.
