I see that little men is a sequal to little women.  I don’t know that I would be able to convince my 11 yr old son of this and wondering if he could just read little men?

Also, he has really taken to reading and has finished a couple really good books.  Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe, The story of king arthur and his knights by Pyle to name a few.  Any other suggestions for his type of likes?  He really just ate these up!  Even my dh was amazed.

Since he likes King Arthur, how about The Once and Future King by TH White? (It may be a little advanced for him, but it’s worth a look). The Black Arrow by Stevenson is also set in that time period, I think. He may like Treasure Island and Kidnapped by Stevenson, as well, if he hasn’t already read them.

Yes, Little Men could be read on its own.  Has he read Howard Pyle’s other books, like The Adventures of  Robin Hood or Otto of the Silver Hand or The Story of the Champions of the Round Table or The Book of Pirates or Men of Iron?  I don’t know that I’d give an 11yo The Once and Future King . . .  How about the King Arthur by Roger Lancelyn Green?  My 13yo also suggests The Hidden Treasure of Glaston by Eleanore Jewett.  If he liked Robinson Crusoe, then he needs The Swiss Family Robinson . . . it’s more fanciful but still fun.  Definitely Treasure Island and Kidnapped, as Karen mentioned.  Has he read The Hobbit yet?
