Letters from Egypt alternative

    For some reason we are not enjoying the Letters from Egypt book.  Is there something else that anyone recommends in its place?  I see from a past post a recommendation for the book Sojourn in Africa.  Is that a good one?

    My boys (ages 10 and 8) did not like Letters From Egypt either.  I plan to use it the second time we go through the guide when they are in high school.  I have been subbing those readings with missionary stories that take place in Africa.
