I have one but haven’t done much with it!
tandc93ParticipantHeather, your pinterest is AWESOME, some great ideas and SO organized! I’m trying to work on mine so I can find things easier.
Here’s mine: http://pinterest.com/tandc93/
nerakrParticipantI was inspired to get my own after browsing all of yours. Here it is:

LDIMomParticipantJust figuring this pinterest out, but I think it will save me time. I always save links but then spend forever trying to find something I saw that I could use for a particular teaching moment. This visual aspect saves me from looking too far!
I used Christie’s idea to sign up for twitter and then deactivate. So far so good.

I am just getting started. Plan to add all of you. Not sure how to do that? Guess I need to go back and see about invites!
petitemomParticipantI looked at some of yours and got some neat ideas. I am really scared to get too much into this, I could see how it could end up consumming my life!!
JennNCParticipantLDIMom: just follow our links to go to each of our main boards and click “follow all” at the top. Or you can follow individual boards if you prefer. I just added you. 🙂
Petitmom: I thought so too at first but it really doesn’t have to be that way… it is less social than facebook, although there is a social aspect to it. I have not found it difficult to limit my time there, especially after the initial novelty wore off. I can’t tell you how many times it has helped me find a link I had saved that I would never have unearthed otherwise!

petitemomParticipantI can see how it would help to organize all the stuff I have saved but that would take a while, maybe I’ll do it slowly slowly. What is the benefit of adding people? Can’t you just use it to organize stuff you find?
JennNCParticipantYes, definitely! Although others can still choose to follow you… would that bother you? I don’t think there is currently any way to block people from following you and re-pinning your pins. I may be wrong?
nerakrParticipantI don’t know about preventing repinning, but you can choose to “unfollow” people. I’ve only been on Pinterest a little over a week, but I had followers and boards I was following from the beginning and have unfollowed many of them.
