    Hi, I was wondering if anyone has done the Laura Ingalls trip? We are thinking about traveling the trail but not sure where to start. It would be great to hear others pro and cons and where to go and stay.

    I’m intrigued to hear about what this trip entails. 😉 We are maybe planning a trip to MN (bordering WI) so are going to be close to Pepin, WI (Lake Pepin)

    If you want to end up at Rocky Ridge Farm in Missouri when you are done, they celebrate Wilder Days with an outdoor play, street fairs, and of course, you can tour the home Almanzo built and the one that Rose built for them. She wrote the books at Rocky Ridge Farm and there are manuscript pages, etc. to see.  There is a museum with Pa’s fiddle and other interesting things. It is in August. It is fun but very hot. 😉
