Yes, I know this is off track but it is a learning experiance.. 🙂 So I had to share.
Last night I made lasagna…. My son saw me putting stuff in it. He thought it was tomatoes. He let out a fuss. Don’t put those in there you will ruin it.. I said , ” What?”   You eat carrots all the time.
He laughed and said, “Carrots? I thought those were tomatoes. They would taste terriable with tomatoes in it!”   Yuck! Tomatoes…. LOL Mind you spegetti sauce is made out of tomatoes… bahaha haha!
So today we had leftovers.   He says to me, ” Mom, this sure was the best lasagna you ever have made!”
I said, ” Even with all those tomatoes in it! ”   🙂
      Boy, it sure tastes better with the carrots instead.. Why didn’t I think of it before????
Just thought I would share….   🙂 Kiddos are so much fun sometimes.. 🙂

LOL Yes, they sure are funny! My 9yo today said, “Ew, don’t put sauerkraut on the pizza, Mom!” (Yes, we’re from MN, and we’re German.) I said, “Try it.” So she did. “Yummy!” She does this quite often. Ah, kids…

Yep, German here too. Sneak all the veggies in you can get! 🙂 Were up here in the U.P. Michican.
I think us northern Germans have to surprise our kiddos every once in awhile… 🙂 Tehe he
Just to keep them on their toes..    I like the book, ” The sneaky Chef” I know I should puree’ a little more but I guess I felt like just tossing it in.
    It all tastes the same Right????   🙂

Oh, I just can’t hear someone say “Upper Peninsula” without thinking, “pasties!” They are probably akin to junk food for some people, but oh, were they tasty! Haven’t been to Michigan for years, so I haven’t had one in a long time.
