Hi, I’m new to this and loving it so far.  One question – when I print the daily planner, the print is so small!  Is there any way to enlarge the text?  Thank you!

I was wondering this as well.  I’m a bit visually impaired and larger print would be so helpful to me.

In your print window, try changing the % to 150% or greater to see if that helps.

We’ve had a few reports of the print being too small but it looks fine in all our tests. I’m wondering if there is actually a difference on some computers or browser software with fonts or something or if we just set it too small but don’t notice with our particular eyesight.

How is the size of the text on the screen?

@lrichards, Looks like you’re using a Mac with Safari 4 as your browser. That matches what I’m using so I’d like to find out a little more about what you’re seeing. If I private message you a mailing address would you be willing to print a sample and mail it to me so I can compare with my printouts?

In the mean time, you can change the size of the text in your print dialog box by increasing the scale above 100%, as @missceegee suggested.

@Oney_Jones, Looks like you’re using Firefox 3, which also shouldn’t present any problems. You should also be able to change the scale in your print dialog.

Please let us know if that helps. Thanks.

We just rolled out some formatting fixes to the Daily Plan printing. Please give it another try and let us know how it goes. Thanks!

I wanted to add another tip on adjusting the Daily Plan print size.

It is possible to increase the size of the type in a different way than increasing the percentage at print time. The advantage is that doing so won’t zoom the whole page and make the notes area smaller or part of the page cut off. How you do it depends on your Web browser software.

In Safari, choose the View menu and select Zoom Text Only. Then from the View menu you can use  Zoom In and Zoom Out to make the text larger or smaller, which will be reflected when you print. You can also use Customize Toolbar from the View menu to add a one-click text size button to the top of your browser for quick access.

You can do the same thing in Firefox by choosing the Zoom sub-menu under the View menu. I don’t see an option in Firefox to add text size icons to the toolbar, though.

Thank you for the tip about zooming the text! That works great. Smile
