Has anyone read or used Land of Hope from the Hillsdale college curriculum for highschool American history? I’m considering subbing it for America the Last Best Hope by William Bennett.
I’m also considering the young readers edition for a middle school child.
Any thoughts good or bad are welcome.

My high schooler is using Land of Hope this year and we’re both enjoying it. He writes a narration nearly everyday and I have incorporated the SCM selections from American Voices into it as well.

My two high schoolers (12th and 10th) are using it this year and loving it. We also read selections from American Voices, about once a week.

For those using it, would you mind giving some tips on how to schedule it out in place of the Bennett books? Thanks!
