Thank you to all of you for faithfully praying for Lana and her family. This morning Lana went to meet Jesus, to dance in the court of the King of Kings, to see her Father face to face and hear, “Well done good and faithful servant.” She is now whole and healed in heaven.
It is rather sudden, but then again, the cancer that she had had progressed to the end stage before she even knew she had it – by that time it had spread to multiple areas in her body.
Lana would want everyone to know that God is a healing God. He is the great physician – and he can heal the body of sin and disease – after all, which is easier? But ultimately His goal is to bring all people to Him. From the moment she received the diagnosis, Lana said that this was a win-win proposition. God would either heal her here and she would have more years with her family on earth, or He would heal her in heaven where she would see Him face to face. There was no downside.
Please know that through Lana, people who didn’t know God have come to know Him in the last 10 months BECAUSE of her cancer. God uses all things for His good; He wipes away every tear; He makes all things new. Lana is celebrating perfection with the Lover of her soul. And though the wait seems so long, one day soon, all of us will meet her and share in the celebration she enjoys right now.
What is the worst thing that can happen to us here? We lose this life to gain another in heaven. What is the best thing that can happen to us here? We lose this life to gain another in heaven. It is all gain.
