Is anyone familiar with The Kingdom Series by Chuck Black? If so what do you think of it and for what ages do you recommended it? Thanks!

We have the first in the series and my kids really liked it. I especially bought it for my son but my daughter really enjoyed it as well. They are both 11. I think ages 8 and up at least but older kids will especially appreciate it and understand more the connections with the Bible and God’s plan of redemption. We met the author in Nasheville this past March. Super nice…

My dd13 has read and enjoyed the series. From my perusal, I’d say it’s best for ages 8-9 and up.

Agreed.  All my boys loved them.

My boys have enjoyed them also as did I. I would agree with the ages being around 8-9.

My boys have enjoyed his other two series as well. The Knights of Arethrea and Cloak of the Light. Each series is for older children so Knights for ages 11 or so and Cloak for 13 or so.

We did both series when my ds was 7 and dd was 5.  They LOVED them and are ready for me to read them again.  I thoroughly enjoyed both series along w/ them and plan to revisit them soon (they are now 9 and 7).  They were definitely on the young end, but enjoyed them as read-alouds.
