    Does anyone know if you can download mp3 files to the Kindle for PC app and play them there?

    Just pretending to be tech-savvy (clever facade, no?),

    I don’t think the Kindle for PC app will play MP3’s  (The Kindle itself does, although in a limited way).  But there are a lot or programs for the PC that will do MP3’s, many of which are free… and Windows comes with a Media Player that plays them….

    I do listen to mp3’s on my pc, but I was hoping to have some mp3 audiobooks filed under my Kindle for pc mostly for organizational purposes.  Of course, I could put them there and then just open them in the Media Player….
