Hi there, with all the recent talk about math, I just wanted to share a free website that my 9 yo dd uses for practice. There are also videos where he explains the concepts and then practice problems. It does keep track of what they are doing and when I log in I can see her progress in each area. They even earn badges for different things like some many problems correct in a row, or watching a video, etc.
Yes, we use it for practice too. I know of one family that uses it for their main math course. My son loves to practice on it (although I don’t have him use it very often – plan to use it a fair bit this sumemr though! I just found out about the badges the other day…
My dd loves the badges. My 5 yo ds likes to use it for the basic addition, but he’s not very familiar with the computer so I need to be close by when he uses it.
I know of a family who uses it along with the Complete Math and Literature and Math and Non Fiction Series for their main math also. I love the idea of the Math and Literature books but need something a little more structured for our days right now.
This is an amazing web site! Thanks so much for sharing.
We are doing Proffesor B math this year but I see that other families use it as a supplement and my budget doesn’t allow for more spending right now . . .
