    Hi Ladies,

    What do you use for typing practice/keyboarding? We have been using free online lessons. I am looking for something that will help them get better in their typing skills. We are not getting better. Is it because they are not actually typing enough to get better or something else?  I don’t know.  Any ideas or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    We use Mavis Beacon 18.  It’s a CD-rom, but pretty inexpensive.  They often type their written narrations and send email to friends and family for additional practice.  When learning any new skills, readiness and consistency are usually important factors…often times more important than the actual program being used.
