    It’s coming up this next week. September 26th, 1774. I just thought I’d let you ladies know, in case it was something of interest. We’ve lined our Outdoor Secrets up, so that we’re doing our apple stuff this week and next, including the Johnny Appleseed book recommended. We’ll be apple picking next week, and I’ll bake a birthday pie for us on the 26th! We also love the Apple Pie Tree by Zoe Hall! We’ll also work on memorizing the Johnny Appleseed Blessing next week, and have my daughter recite it before we have our pie!

    Wow – I lined up Johnny Appleseed to be read on the week of his birthday – and I didn’t even know it was his birthday!  Thanks for that tidbit of info!!

    Have you read How To Bake An Apple Pie And See The World? We loved that book and you might enjoy it this week, particularly! 🙂
