John Paul Jones bio recs

I am looking for a book recommendation about John Paul Jones. DS will be in 6th grade, but reads at an 11th grade reading level and is a history buff, so I would like something in the 200-300 page range, and written at least a middle school/early high school reading level. I know there is a Landmark book and a Signature biography book, but they seem a little light. Many of the ones I find at amazon are 400-500 pages and that is just too much! Any recommendations?
