If you are someone who never “got” history growing up, I highly recommend that you watch this 20 minute interview with master storyteller Jim Weiss.

In it, he explains how teaching history through stories (vs. textbooks) makes all the difference in the world to children and adults. (And he shares a couple of stories, too!)

I found it to be very inspiring and thought that you might, too!

I really enjoyed that interview.  I got goosebumps listening to the story about Harry Truman.

Thanks for posting, I enjoyed that. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Weiss at a convention last year, he’s so nice. Do you know if they ever have coupons or discounts on his recordings?

Loved this.  Thanks for sharing.  I’m in the process of gathering resorces to begin history with my 6 year old.  This makes me even more excited.
