Ok – here it is – btw – Italic handwriting is harder to create because the joins depend on what letter is being joined to what letter…. so it isn’t a straight font…

Go into “The italic project”
Pick “Teaching Aids”
Pick “Software”
Now you get information on getting the font and the joiner program, how to install, and how to use.
So you would be downloading a font. This font is a nice italic printing font.
Then you download the joiner program, which turns the printing into italic handwriting…..
In short – you create a Unicode Text format file – you might have to try a few different Unicode options…
Then run the Joiner program and point it to the file you created. It will make a new file
Open the file it created (it will look funny) then select the correct font (Briam I think it is called) and you will have Italic Handwriting.
It sounds worse than it really is… I’ve done it a number of times, and after the first time or two, it is easy.
Oh – and that site has LOTS of great free resources for italic handwriting. If I had been braver, I would have designed my own little course using it.
