Anyone read Isaac Watts’ “The Improvement of the MInd” and “Logic: The Right use for Reason in the Inquiry After the Truth”? I assume they are for the teacher for ‘critical thinking development’ starting in the middle years.
Can anyone give me some insight into these two selections. They look very valuable. I want to raise thinkers not robots. Plus, I know he was a Christian and believed in developing the ability to use reason and logic and argumentation in defense of the Good News; to strengthen your faith and the ability to communicate faith to others; a skill desperately needed in this day in age.
Thanks, Rachel
