Is there any reason I should NOT delete an added resource from prior year?

I now have a few years worth of resources I have added that we have long-since completed. Before I do some housekeeping to tidy my overwhelming list, are useful reasons for keeping them? Will historical reports be effected if I do remove them?  My goal is to only have what we are using this year in my added resources. Thank you SCM for a fabulous organizer, we love it!

If you have recorded work on those resources, the records will stay accessible in your Reports section even if you remove the resource from your schedule. You don’t lose any recorded data when you remove a resource from your schedule. The only thing that happens is the resource is de-scheduled and will no longer show up on your Daily Plan.

Thank you Jordan, that was very helpful.  I have one more related question — is there any way to have the system default back to the page of my added resources that I was on when I hit “delete” for a resource?  It’s cumbersome for the system to take me back to beginning of my list each time.  I then have to navigate back to where I left off before I can keep going with my maintenance.  Thank you.

Right now there’s not a way to do that, but it’s a great idea for us to add to the wish list for future updates. 🙂
