I am looking for a not too expensive timeline/book of centuries type idea, that already includes the figures for art, science, music, history and Bible in one package.  Is that a tall order or is there such a thing?  I’m trying to save time having to research all of that clip art myself during a school year. Thanks!

We are using these timelines from GeoMatters.

I got a great deal at a conference! Scroll down to bottom, Historical Timeline and Bible Timeline. My pkg included both plus the laminated wall chart. It was all under $40…so I know that it doesn’t help you now!

In the cd-rom, there are inventors as well as some artists(not all). But there is a way to make your own on the cd as well! I, like you, started the clip art journey long ago…and never could finish it! This timeline is also color and picture coded.

For instance, blue is for Europe, zig zag line border(time period), swords in corner(Battle) Picture represents the subject, and lists the event and date. Don’t know if that makes sense?

Homeschool Bits on currclick has a very cheap timeline journal (century book) for free. You can buy the figures and add ons that you want for less than a dollar. Hope that helps!

I haven’t tried it myself, but I’ve heard good things about Homeschooling in the Woods.

I had posted a question not too long ago about a timeline or book of centuries.  Someone suggested this website.  It includes all the categories.

For now we are going to just do a large accordion style book (as suggested in MOH, but we are using SCM) for ancient history while using the figures from Homeschool in the Woods.
