Is Easy Grammar For High School OK?

    I am looking ahead for next year, and wondered if anyone has used the Easy Grammar for 9th grade etc.? They have materials for all grades, but would these stand alone on a transcript for English credits for college? Our local colleges simply ask for “4 units” of English. I just wondered if any of you have tried these upper level Easy Grammar, and do they seem substantial enough for college prep.?  I do like the short lessons and so does my son.  He will never seek out a major in English, so I though these books did well covering the basics.  He has a very difficult time with handwriting, spelling, etc. so we mostly do oral narrations/dictations.  We do our best, but I just hope it’s good enough.  I don’t want to mess up his chances for college by picking the “easy way” if it’s not going to count.
