iPad

    Sorry don’t know if this is the right category to ask the question. I am thinking about getting an iPad and use it as an e-reading device. Looking into all possible devices out there I found it provides the best reading experience (color, moving of the pages etc). Now the only concern I have is the backlight. We live in SE AZ and have about 350 days a year bright sunlight. I plan to do most of the schooling in the backyard/on the patio.

    What is your experience with using the iPad in sunlight? I can use my MACBook if I set the brightness very high, the HP laptop I can’t use outside impossible to see anything on the screen. Is the iPad screen about the same as the MACBook or even better?

    I would say the iPad screen is just a little better than or the same as the MacBook.
