introduction

    HI– I have been reading posts for the last few weeks and posted once or twince but never introduced myself. My name is pam and i have four kids–12 girl, 9 1/2 girl and 7 yr old twins. we have been homeschooling for 5 years and have used a variety of “boxed” curriculum-all only to fall to the wayside after a couple of weeks. We are taking “spring break” this week while i do some more research and plan our last term using SCM plan. I am excited to try but i must admit, i am a bit overwhelmed. Next weekend my husband will take the kids, except one, to visit his mother for the weekend so i am looking forward to having some time to plan then as well. There is a lot of wisdom here and i have enjoyed reading posts!

    Welcome, Pam! Yes, some quiet time to think is always helpful. I sometimes need to put thoughts on hold until that quietness can occur. Sort of like Scarlett O’Hara, “I’ll think about it tomorrow!”

    I was reffered to the CM method recently too by a friend of mine. And i’ll agree with ya…I’m all for it yet a bit overwhelmed.
