Introduction :-)

Hello!

I have been a lurker here for several years and thought perhaps it was time I posted an introduction 🙂 I am a homeschool graduate now homeschooling my own 8 children, ages 11-almost 6 months. I have been studying and loving Charlotte Mason’s ideas since my oldest was 4 or 5. Implementing them has been a little harder as I’ve struggled with severe adrenal fatigue over the past 5 years, which has thrown a wrench into all my lovely home school plans. The Lord has been so faithful and has been teaching us some other much needed lessons instead. 🙂 We’ve definitely had to focus more on lots of real life learning and I’m amazed (and thankful) at all the children have absorbed even when more structured lessons have been hit or miss. I’m deep in planning out our school year right now though (The CM Organizer is PERFECT for our family!) as my health has been on the manageable side this year and I’m hoping (and praying) that we will be able to focus more on academics (CM style :-))

I’ve enjoyed many of the conversations here, learned lots from you all and hope to learn more :-).
