Introducing Myself

I started to post around here, and I don’t think I introduced myself yet. So here is a bit about me.

My dh and I are newbies to homeschooling. We began this last year, and are loving it! I’ve read about CM, but have lots more to read & learn still. We’re using SL, but am trying to bring more of CM slant to it. I’m very interested in what’s laid out on this site as far as Scope/Sequence as well as the Ambleside site.

We have 2 girls ~ 8yo & 4yo. We love nature. DH loves to camp – I do too, but he enjoys it much more than I. Maybe when the girls are a bit older I’ll enjoy it more like I used too.

We live in town, but are country in heart. So we keep expanding what we plant garden wise. I don’t claim to know lots about gardening, but I love to get my hands in the dirt. I tell people that we play with gardening.

I’ve been learning alot by reading through new & old threads. Thanks for being gracious to me, the new kid on the block.
