Interesting Article – Why Kids Need Little Red Hen Mamas by Ann Voskamp

Thank you, Christie.  God has been whispering this idea to me for a long time – thanks for sharing Ann’s thoughts that speak so directly to my soul.  Now I’m off to NOT throw scraps for today…hopefully, for a long time.

I like Katrina have been having God whisper this idea to me for quite a while.  I was sitting here on the computer looking at books I would like for the girls thinking I really need to get off the computer and read them the books we already have yet couldn’t seem to pull myself away.  I said one more minute and kept surfing  and looked at this post.  Proceeded to read this article and was truly convicted about my waste of time on the computer and giving my girls the scraps.  They got scrapes or none for their first two years of life in an orphanage and how horrible that I have fallen into a trap of giving scraps a lot of the time.  Now off to do what I should be doing!
