Individual board games for 2nd grader?

Any ideas for board games playing individually while I work with my 5ds?

We have a chess puzzle set that has cards basically giving different puzzles to solve. You have to know how chess pieces move but I have seen similar things not chess based like the game traffic jam. I would check Timberdoodle for such things. And you can always get a deck of cards and teach him good old fashioned solitaire.

My kids have a game called Rush Hour (I think it is the Jr. version that we have) which are basically logic type puzzles. They love it.

Double Shutter would help with math facts and can be played alone.

The wrap ups are really good for my second grader.  She is doing the addition and subtraction ones.  We also have music ones but haven’t gotten there yet.
