Can you share your favorite list of science living books for a student reading at a 3rd grade level to read on his own??

    Thanks.

Christian Liberty Nature Readers are always good. They have levels 1-5, I think.

My kids liked Rod and Staff All on a Mountain Day and Trapped By a Mountain Storm. There are others by Rod and Staff too – North Carolina Forests and ??? Although these may be higher than 3rd grade.

The ___ do the strangest things series is good. They have animals, reptiles, birds, insects, fish and some others that I can’t remember right now : ).

Dolphin Adventure, Dolphin Treasure, Dolphin Freedom

The Life and Times series – apple, corn, ant, peanut, honeybee (maybe more)

Hope that gets you started at least,
    Rebecca

Books by Robert McClung such as Ruby Throat, Bufo, Possum, etc.
