I have one DD who is intensely interested in forensic science. I understand that this field of science includes a lot of derivatives (forensic pathology, forensic psychology, etc.) and thus is closely related to biology and chemistry. However, she is just 10. She picked up a forensic science book from Usborne, and it just clicked. She has always been our solve-the-mystery girl, has read every Sir Arthur Conan Doyle book I own, and used to take notes while reading Nancy Drews when she was younger so she could solve the mystery. So she is particularly interested in the fact that there are scientific processes one can employ to solve cases. I have purchased some kits, but she’d like more reading on the topic, specifically how those techniques/processes are employed and how they work. If you saw my other post, you’d see I’m a bit helpless in this area with no real library resources for me to preview. Does anyone have any suggestions of books she could read?
