These may be considered twaddle, but I was so pleased to find this at our library, Otter and Owl Set Sail.  There are many other books by Zonderkids, and my daughter was so happy to find one at her level, and I was happy that it had great simple messages in it about God.  Feel free to let me know if I’m not supposed to post twaddly books:)  Thanks

I’d hardly say you were out of line….and each family ought to set their own standard of flexibility as to if/when/how much twaddle their child is allowed to read. It’s like dessert….some families indulge in a sugary treat now and then; they just don’t make a steady diet of it. Others cannot or will not allow any refined sugar to pass through their children’s lips, and so their approach is different and suited to their family.

I guess I could paraphrase it this way: One man’s twaddle is another man’s tweasure….uh, treasure!

(Ugh, that was bad….even I’m holding my nose!)
