I can finally see how CM style is so much simpler

    I am amazed at how much simpler this year is lining up to be compared to last years. This is going to be our first year doing CM and since we are still young, and CM style pretty much fits my beliefs before ever knowing about CM, we are going full CM this year. Compared to last year it seems so much easier, more pleasant and not as flashy and no meat as our curriculum. It looks like my kids might actually learn something of value this year. My homeschool bookshelf isn’t crammed with shiny, slick but classic and wholesome. And it is only 1 1/2 shelves instead of two plus stuff crammed below in the closed area, hiding and waiting to jump out lol.  This is such a burden off my shoulders. Now that I have gotten almost everything for this year gathered I can see how all the gathering and work are going to pay off 🙂 A huge thank you to the SCM staff and all the people on the forum who are all so helpful and encouraging!!

    We’re loving it here, too.  This is only our 2nd year using the History Modules, and I am always amazed at the simplicity and yet how thoroughly topics and people sre covered.   And I really like that the teacher’s guide (the planned-out, day-by-day book) is so affordable, unlike some other major companies.
