OK, I know we have discussed this in the past. I really can’t find all the Bible verses for these and I wanted to put them in my Bible card file.  I may  have them in there but didn’t write down specifically those four words on the top of them.  So, If any one of you could help me out with the verses so I can write them out and have my children study these this week I would appriciate it…

                 Thanks!

    Hi Chocodog,

Here you go…. at least this is what I have written down…

    I am: Ephesians 2: 8-10

    I can: Phillipians 4:3

    I ought: Mark 12:30-31

    I will: Psalm 119:30

    Hope that helps.

I need to go back and read more about this. Did CM pair these scriptures with each phrase? How do each of you use/apply this motto?

No, these are Scripture verses that my family has put with the phrases from the motto. We have the motto and the corresponding verses in our Scripture memory box.

Last night I found SCM blog posts and Karen Andreola’s chapter on “I am, I can, I ought, I will.” Now to find quiet time to read and think…
