I just scheduled Hungry Planet as extra reading for our geography lessons. We are currently doing map drill of the Middle East for my 6 1/2 yo and Asia for my 8yo. We are going to read in Hungry Planet about one of the countries each week. Today we read about a family in China and a family in Kuwait.
I wanted to put this into the Organizer to help me remember to get this book out each week, but I can’t schedule the countries in the order that I want. Bhutan is the first country listed, and while we will read about Bhutan during our Asia map study, we aren’t there yet. I want to read about the countries that the kids are able to label on their maps from memory, which is why Kuwait and China were chosen today.
I’ve been using the Organizer for a couple of years now, and maybe I’m just missing it. Is there a way to re-order chapters or sections so that they fall in the order we will be using them?

Lindsey, we’ll be able to edit resources later–this is being worked on right now, as a matter of fact. BUT for now, to make it easier on yourself, I’d just list the resource by name, schedule no divisions, schedule it to show up on the day you want it to, and put in a note when you use it saying what ones you did. I often scan the books like this very quickly right before a week begins and put a stickie on the cover saying “Bhutan” or whatever to help me remember when I’m in the thick of things during the week. This wouldn’t be too much work to do short term until the new resource features are rolled out.
