Hungry Planet?

    I am getting our books for next year and have a question about one of the books that goes along with the Visits To… lessons. I went to Amazon to buy Hungry Planet and discovered there are two books, a regular one and one for younger kids. My kids are both younger, but since this is a resource that I intend to use for years, I was wondering if anyone has compared the books and has a preference for one or the other? My kids will be K and 1st next year.

    The version aimed at younger children is an abridged edition that doesn’t contain all of the material in the original Hungry Planet book. If you’re thinking about using the version for younger children, you’ll want to check on the chapter list to make sure it includes the readings scheduled in the Visits to… lessons.
