I’m wondering if anyone has read any good living books about hummingbirds? My oldest is first grade. In case anyone is interested, we have enjoyed the two videos on this website about hummingbirds:http://handbookofnaturestudy.blogspot.com/2012/07/ohc-more-nature-study-book-4.html August 21, 2012 at 12:53 am missceegeeParticipantThere is a neat DVD/book combo called First Flight that we enjoyed. August 21, 2012 at 12:56 am andreamParticipantI saw that on a previous post and have tried to look it up where we could view it online for free. Our library doesn’t have it either. Do you have a direct link to this video? August 21, 2012 at 12:57 am missceegeeParticipantNo, I’m sorry. I own the dvd/book combo. If you lived close I could lend it. One of them is titled The Hungry Hummingbird by April Pulley Sayre. It looks like it may be a nice read for my younger children. Older and out of print but I LOVE McClung for younger children. I actually had a person join my library for his books.Viewing 8 posts - 1 through 8 (of 8 total)The topic ‘Hummingbird living books’ is closed to new replies.
