HS biology: s. Timothy, guest hollow or friendly biology

Searching for an alternative to apologia for high school biology, and I don’t really want to put together my own curriculum.  I came across a CM guide at S. Timothy online – has anyone used this?  I’m also considering guest hollow or friendly biology.  My child is not headed for a science career, but will probably go to college, so I’d like a reasonably solid foundation but not as overwhelming as apologia.  Any input would be appreciated!
