How to post to the forum

How do I post to the forum? I have looked but cannot find where to post.

I was on another post.  If I look at the forum I cannot find where to post unless I am missing it.

There’s a new Add a New Topic link at the top of the right sidebar to make it easier.

Otherwise, if you go to any forum topic first, there is a post box at the bottom of the page.

Okay, something is not working right with my block quote attempt. I had to type in Doug’s quote by hand. (And you all know how lazy I am….)

Maybe I’m not doing it right, but after I clicked “submit,” the post came up with a long string & I had to edit it.

There are two ways to get a block quote:

1. Click the blockquote button to start a quote. Then type something or copy and paste from the original post. Click the blockquote button again at the end of the quote to close it.
2. Copy and paste the quote into your post. Then with the quote highlighted, click the blockquote button. It will apply to all of the highlighted text.

By the way, did you see the editor has a little visual / text selector tab in the upper right corner. If you’re not using the visual editor you should give it a try.
