Ran across this while looking into books for next year (Module 6). I am wondering who among you has seen it, what you thought of it, and if it would be only for adults or suitable to add to our studies this year? My kids are 8th, 6th, 4th, 2nd, and K grades. Thanks for your help!

I plan to use in high school, if that’s any help.

We watched some of them. Interesting, but if I recall correctly (it was a couple years ago) they were well done.

I don’t know where you are looking to rent or own these, but I’ll share that we had a service called puritainpicks.com that has these DVDs and tons of other great educational dvds. It was mail in when we used it. Could be streaming by now. HTH

We used these for high school. I have the VHS. Lets you know how long it’s been. 🙂 They are basically the video version of the book. Excellent in helping students understand the worldview of the cultures they study.

They are available on YouTube if you want to try before you buy. My daughter used these in high school along with the book. I really can’t imagine kids those ages being interested, but I could be wrong. You could watch them yourself and see what you think.
