Hi ladies! I am getting ready to start using Truthquest history again in a couple of weeks and am debating whether or not I want to purchase How Should We Then Live by Frances Shaeffer (sp?). I would love to hear from those of you who have used the book and/or DVD’s and get your take on either or both. How dry is it? Did your students get a lot from it or did much of it go over their heads? If you have the book and the DVD’s, which do you recommend (if either) and why?

We really preferred the DVD (actually mine is VHS…lets you know how long I’ve had it!)  ?  It follows the book closely but you are able to see what he is referring to.  We enjoyed it very much in that he really makes the point that our beliefs have consequences.  It’s not necessarily “entertaining” but it is important.

Thanks Robin! I was hoping you would chime in. 🙂

I discovered that the videos are available on youtube so I’ve decided to go with those. I’m very thankful to have found them available for free.
