    Oh, and I’ve been thinking about the original question – ‘how to quickly describe the CM method to others”. I think I will say “life is our school”. I figure people will either A) think I”m nuts and not ask anymore questions, or B) be intrigued and ask questions, and I can explain from there.

    This is a really good question and the conversation has been great! I have to admit that I’ve been watching for some of those really brilliant nuggets because I too could use an improved concise statement even though I explain CM all the time. Wink

    I usually go somewhere along the lines of it being a gentle yet thorough approach to education that works with the way children naturally learn. Sometimes I’ll add a bit about it being immersive because that’s often a little more understandble than going into living books and such.
