How do I/ what do I grade for SCM history and geography for High School credit?

    I’ve been using SCM for history for 3 years. Now I need to have grades for my high schoolers transcript.  Any suggestions of what to grade? We’ve only done narrations in the past with no testing. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

    I had my children write narrations so I used those and averaged them for a grade.  I weighted it and added something for reading/participation (that they read well, above grade level; that they actively participated in grand discussion) too.

    • 90% written narrations
    • 10% participation

    Other years I might have had a % for projects or essays too.
