    Hi, I am looking for some book recomendations about Homemaking.  Something that would work for my highschool daughter to read as well as for myself.  Do you have any favorites?  I see christianbook has several but apart from the small samples, it’s hard to tell what they are really like.

    I haven’t read it myself, but I have seen others recommend The Hidden Art of Homemaking by Edith Schaeffer

    Keeping House by Margaret Kim Peterson is excellent.

    In addition to the above, if you want a few living books, Mrs. Sharp’s Traditions gives ideas about approaching seasonal holidays, and books like Pocketful of Pinecones, the Little House books, Little Women offer fictive examples of households successfully run.
