Next year we are going to look at people who have home schooled and done well in life.  The ones that really went on to become something (as my kids would say).  I did a lot of searching and found a lot of great options.  I will note we are not interested in the kids who home school basically because they are sports kids and don’t have time go to a typical public school. I was just wondering if anyone here has some favorites we could add to our list.  Thanks Misty

I just read this blog post today.  Not a famous person, but someone who succeeded nonetheless.

What about the kids who wrote Do Hard Things?  They were homeschooled and the book is great for teens.

Sage Parnassus’ Nancy Kelly had a post once that her son wrote reflecting on his CM education as an adult. It was very good. You’d need to search her blog.

Jere Gettle from Baker Creek Heirloom Seed company was homeschooled.  Neat story. There was more about his beginnings in their book, Heirloom Seed book.  Very entreprenurial spirit!
