What order would you use these Holling C. Holling books: Tree in the Trail, Minn of the Mississippi, Paddle to the Sea? Or does it really matter? I picked up two of them from the library but haven’t had the chance to page through them yet.
I noticed they are listed under Family Books in the SCM curriculum guide. Have any of you used these books with children as old as 13, and did they enjoy them?

We are following the SCM guide for geography (Mod. 6) and I believe it is in the order you have listed in your post. I did read Tree in the Trail about a year ago to my 12yo and he loved it….we’re reading it again and he loves it again! He loves these books and so do I.
Beautiful Feet uses these books for their Geography Through Lit. guide…they may have it listed differently (I have that and will look at it for you in a minute, if that helps).
