Hi, I am trying to find a few choice books for the holidays throughout the year. As we approach Thanksgiving I want to explain it with a non-twaddle book. There are so many out there, new and old, long texts and minimal texts but I’m wondering if anyone has some experience with a few different holiday books they could recommend. The ages are for 6 and under. Thanks for your time.

There is no twaddle. Beautiful pictures a song and recipe at the end of the book. Maybe not quite for under 5..isn’t cute..but tells the real story. Includes when it became a national holiday!
