    Has anyone used these??  Are they living books????

    Yes, I’ve used them for two years, for my oldest (currently 6th grade). Because of my oldest dd’s personality, I pre-read and chose which chapters I thought she could read.

    For the second one, I perused it quickly and just handed it over.

    I think she liked the short chapters and short bit on each person’s life.

    If you’re looking to buy them, I recently bought the full set for around $15 plus shipping from Library and Ed. So you might check there…..it was a sale, but if you’re patient, it might come up again.
