  • I was wondering if these are broken down day by day or week by week?  What to do and what to get ready? I need something that is specific. I’m sticking with everything that is SCM. I was having a hard time deciding on Sonlight or SCM but I thought SCM is more CM. I Need the planning to be VERY simple for me. I would even do better to have it done for me and how it all fits together.. I’m a very disorganized person in my head and takes me forever to wrap my head around what I’m suppose to do.

I hear that LBC is week by week and that would never work for me either.

    Thanks so much

Download the sample for whichever guide you are choosing.  If I understand your question, you are asking if there are instructions for each day?  Yes, and if you are the type to go week by week there is what I would call a week at a glance page for each term.  That way you can quickly see what is coming up.  I have found these guides to be very user friendly.

Not only do they list what to grab/read, what questions to ask to spark discussion on what you’ve previously discussed, and so on for each day, I love that the days are Numbered instead of labeled by Mon-Fri.  So the book literally has lesson 1, 52, and 128.  This is really great because we don’t always get 5 days done in a week, so we just pick up with the next lesson each time.  We also sometimes do more than one lesson in a day, so it keeps me sane that I’m not looking at something that says “Tuesday” when we’re doing it on Friday.  (I’m funny like that).

Do go download a sample, they are really helpful to see it!
