I posted this on my blog this morning, but in case you don’t read it, I thought I would share the humor here.
For Family Studies, we are reading aloud Famous Men of Rome. Today, before we continued our reading on Julius Caesar, I asked the children for a recap of what we read yesterday. The two older children went first giving a nice summary of facts. Ashlyn listens to our family readings, but because she is only five, her narrations are optional. Well today, she wanted to share what she remembered. Here is her narration:
“Julius Caesar was very nice. He didn’t attack the cities. He just surrounded them and waited for the people to run out of food.”
It was so hard not to laugh :O) You’ve gotta love innocent connections.
Happy Friday!
